Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and WispResume ("WispResume", "we", "us"), governing your use of our resume-building service and related features (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Description of service

WispResume lets you create, edit, preview, and export resumes and related job-search documents. We offer a free tier and a paid "Pro" tier with additional features. Features may change over time as we improve the Service.

2. Account creation

• You may create an account with an email and password, or by signing in with Google.
• You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction to create an account.

3. Subscription plans

We offer a free plan and a paid "Pro" plan (currently $6/month). Pro unlocks paid features such as unlimited resumes, unlimited downloads, and the full font and color library, as described on our Pricing page. Prices are shown in US Dollars (USD) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

4. Billing

• Pro is a paid, auto-recurring monthly subscription.
• Payments are processed securely by Dodo Payments. By subscribing, you also agree to Dodo Payments' terms.
• Access to paid features is granted once your payment is verified, and continues while your subscription is active.
• We do not store your card or bank details — those are handled directly by Dodo Payments.

5. Automatic renewal

Your Pro subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period, at the then-current price, until you cancel it. We do not require you to re-confirm each renewal; the recurring charge is part of what you agree to when you subscribe.

6. Cancellation

You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time from your dashboard or the Pricing page. Cancelling stops future renewals; your current billing period remains active and you keep Pro access until it ends. See our Cancellation Policy and Refund Policy for full details.

7. User responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• The accuracy and legality of the content you enter into your resumes and account.
• Keeping your login credentials confidential and secure.
• Complying with all applicable laws when using the Service.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, templates, and software, is owned by WispResume and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service. You retain ownership of the content you put into your resumes, and resumes you export are yours to use.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful purposes or to infringe others' rights.
• Attempt to bypass paid-feature restrictions, security controls, or rate limits.
• Disrupt, reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the Service.
• Upload malicious code or content you do not have the right to use.

10. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that a resume built with the Service will result in interviews or employment, or that any layout will pass a specific applicant-tracking system.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WispResume will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
